Jeremy Comeau joined the firm in 2006 as an associate in its business and utility law section. He concentrates his practice in representing utilities and other businesses in administrative proceedings and civil litigation as well as advising these companies in a variety of corporate governance issues, land use matters, real estate law and contract negotiations. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the Federal District Court of the Southern District of Indiana and the Northern District of Indiana. Prior to joining Parr Richey, Mr. Comeau clerked for the Indiana Secretary of State’s office in Indianapolis and the United States Department of Justice in the Chicago Field office.
Mr. Comeau is also a licensed and registered family law mediator in Indiana and has performed numerous mediations for low income families as part of the Family and Children Mediation Clinic in Bloomington, IN. He currently represents individuals in family law and domestic relations issues including marriage dissolutions, custody, and child support.
Education
Mr. Comeau completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelors degree from Bringham Young University in Economics. He completed law school at Indiana University School of Law -- Bloomington in 2006 where he graduated cum laude.

Mr. Comeau is an active member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and its Utility Law Section. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Indiana and a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS©.
